LSC Coed Softball League
Summer 2016 Thursday nights Hays Kennedy field
We’re starting the softball season with two open play practices differently this year. Thursday, May 19 starting at 7PM then on Saturday, May 21 at 1PM. There is no commitment for these practices. We’ll have some fun and practice with whoever shows up. Anyone planning to play in the league is encouraged to attend if they haven’t played in our league before. Debbie will be taking signups for the league so this would be your last chance to get signed up if it’s not already full by then. We will have the team draw on May 22 so you must be signed up (paid) by then to play.
We will only have 4 teams again this year so make sure you sign up early.
Our league games will begin Thursday, May 26. We’ll have 2 games per night at 7PM and 8PM. Cost is $65 per person. It’s $57 to coach a team. The league and tournament will consist of 10 nights of softball fun. What a deal!!
This is a fun competitive coed league. All skill levels are encouraged to play. All you need is a glove. We provide the balls, some bats and the enthusiasm. We play basic coed rules with men batting their weakest side. Coaches and players are expected to know the rules and follow them. You must be a current ski club member to play.
Signups begin NOW. The Louisville Ski Club uses their website for all event signups. This system will monitor your membership and allow you to sign up and pay with credit card if you choose. Debbie will still take checks (payable to LSC, mailed to Debbie) and cash the old fashion way but you still must go to the website to renew or join then sign up for the event.
